“This isn’t just about training the dogs. I focus a lot on educating owners, so they have the knowledge to maintain their dog’s progress. Training isn’t a magic fix, it’s a lifestyle change. Small daily habits that you incorporate into your life so your dog is more fulfilled with his. If the owner isn’t consistent with their part, then the dog won’t be consistent either. It’s a team effort.” – Summer Heine

NEW LEAF K9 TRAINING & BEHAVIOR

Hi there, I’m Summer Heine

Summer Heine is a certified canine training and behavior specialist serving both Clark and Cowlitz County residents, training professionally since 2016. Gaining her certification at Starmark in Hutto, TX she followed up with an apprenticeship there before opening her own business in 2018. Although she loves helping all dogs her passion is working with behavioral issues. In the future she’d love to get back into rescue, rehab and rehome but for now you can find her helping owners in southwest Washington build a better relationship with their dog.
